The understanding, support and expertise you need
Training and associated bodies
I have completed the Little Dreams Certified Sleep Consulting Training Programme. The course is one of the most intensive, thorough and bespoke courses available to sleep consultants, and the only one endorsed by the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants (APSC) in the UK, only accessible by Little Dreams’ franchisees. It covers all the areas of sleep that are needed to ensure families are well supported and have an expert led approach. I am also a registered member of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants, highlighting, not only my training but also the quality of my support.
- The science of sleep using an evidence-based approach
- Attachment and sleep
- How to guide your little one towards a better night's sleep using our branded and bespoke sleep techniques
- The importance of supporting both parents and children through recommended techniques.
Whilst Little Dreams focus on sleep, my training also includes training from industry experts including a lactation consultant and a world leading Professor of Psychology in relation to attachment and sleep. This deeper understanding of key areas supports my ability to find approaches that make parents feel comfortable and empowered to make a change. The Little Dreams First Year Support Plan also ensures new consultants are fully supported and mentored, giving them daily access to the industry leading franchise founders, ensuring there is constant support and ongoing learning during that first year if it is needed. I have also undertaken bespoke Safer Seep training from the Lullaby Trust and Safeguarding training from the NSPCC.
Sleep is far more intricate than many of us realise, which is why having a consultant who truly understands the science behind it is essential, especially when those unexpected challenges from little ones arise. After all, we know your baby is unique!
